Logline:

#ThatPintoLife is an all-access look at the Pinto family navigating the exhilarating world of professional futbol. Follow Hassan and Meleata Pinto alongside their driven children, Brianna and Malik, as they travel the globe chasing dreams on and off the pitch. With their eldest son, Hassan Jr., a recently retired player turned MBA graduate, trying to make his way back into the game from the front office. #ThatPintoLife offers an unparalleled insider's look at the beautiful game, the sacrifices it demands, and the unwavering family bond that ties it all together.

 

Show Format:

One-hour reality series following the Pinto family.

 

Main Characters:

  • Hassan Pinto: Supportive father who instills hard work and a love for the game in his children.

  • Meleata Pinto: An athletic and beautiful mother who keeps the family grounded amidst the chaos.

  • Brianna Pinto: A rising star in professional women's futbol.

  • Malik Pinto: a talented young player trying to become a starter at F.C. Cincinnati and get his second contract.

  • Hassan Jr. Pinto: A recently retired player with an MBA from the prestigious Duke Fuqua School of Business, he aims to re-enter the world of football from a business perspective.

Parent Biographies

Hassan Pinto Sr.

Hassan Pinto is an entrepreneur, filmmaker, inventor, fundraiser, and avid sportsman. He has over 30 years of experience in business development, focused primarily on the wireless and sports media marketplace. Currently, Mr. Pinto serves in a duo role as the Managing Director and Founder of GreatestFan, LLC, a sports-based media and technology company, and the Senior Vice President of Business Development at Creative Allies.
 
During his tenure with GreatestFan, Mr. Pinto has created, developed, and launched numerous products in various market segments. In 2012, Mr. Pinto produced a series of eBooks, "Duke ­ Carolina, the Blue Blood Rivalry." Subsequently, he released a similarly titled full-length documentary film distributed worldwide by Image Entertainment. The following year, he expanded the Blue Blood Rivalry brand footprint to include Bluebloodrivalry.com. This online magazine enables athletes, fans, businesses, and brands to communicate directly to the Duke/Carolina fan base via Internet TV, mobile, and desktop devices. In 2014, Mr. Pinto introduced the brand into the craft beer market by creating the Blue Blood Rivalry Ale, distributed throughout North Carolina by Budweiser. 2017 Mr. Pinto guided the Blue Blood Rivalry Brand into the 5K running arena. Most recently, Mr. Pinto launched the Blue Blood TV Podcast, which is distributed on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, Stitcher, TuneIn, and Amazon's Alexa. The BBRTV Podcast has listeners in 39 countries and 632 cities worldwide. 

Before transitioning into technology, Mr. Pinto spent ten years in leadership roles with the Los Angeles Lakers, Major League Baseball, WNBA, and FIFA World Cup. Mr. Pinto also serves on the Board of Directors for Habitat For Humanity Orange County and The Tar Heel Soccer Club. 
 
Hassan received his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master's Degree in Sports Administration from Adelphi University, and a Certificate in Mobile­ Commerce and electronic Business Development from New York University (NYU).

Meleata Pinto

Meleata Pinto joined HCL Software as the Revenue Marketing Senior Director in January 2022. Overseeing a 14-person team, her responsibilities include driving demand and revenue for the Digital Transformation product portfolio, managing global industry events, and directing global brand and product marketing campaigns to increase awareness and consideration of HCL Software. Before joining HCL Software, Ms. Pinto held a similar role at Brightly, a SaaS company that was recently acquired by Siemens. There, she drove effective communication between the product and functional teams, external agencies, and key stakeholders, led strategic goal-setting for the marketing organization, and delivered execution plans to achieve annual revenue targets. Before joining Brightly, Ms. Pinto spent over a decade in various strategy and marketing roles with Lenovo's Data Center Group (DCG) and IBM, including Global Marketing Director, Senior Strategy Manager, and Worldwide Product Marketing Manager. Ms. Pinto began her career in technology at IBM in 2011 after obtaining her MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Before transitioning to the technology sector, Ms. Pinto enjoyed a successful career as a television producer, earning Emmy and George Foster Peabody awards for her work on the acclaimed documentary series ESPN SportsCentury.   Additionally, Ms. Pinto served as the executive producer for a full-length film, "Duke-Carolina: The Blue Blood Rivalry," and has consulted on several feature projects for USA Baseball, HoopsTV, and non-profit organizations.

Meleata and her husband, Hassan, met at UNC-Chapel Hill and have been married for over 20 years. They have 3 adult children, Hass, Brianna, and Malik, former/current professional soccer players. Meleata can be found traveling, reading children's chocolate chip cookies when not on the sidelines watching her children's games.
